Arizona Space Business Roundtable
Col. Brandon Alford, Commander, U.S. Space Force–Southern.
Operating out of Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, he is responsible for developing and executing space operations, activities, and investments valued at over $15 million annually in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. Space Forces–South is the U.S. Space Force component supporting U.S. Southern Command. Col. Alford will focus on Space Forces–South: Mission and Impact in the Western Hemisphere, with a discussion of its mission, how space capabilities support operations across the region, and why they matter. He will highlights partnerships, real-world applications and the growing role of space in security, disaster response, and regional stability. He’ll entertain Q&A from the audience after his prepared remarks.
We’re expecting a larger crowd for this one, so be sure to RSVP so we can plan appropriately. Free, as always. We’ll be at Pima Community College downtown again, but in a different room. It’s Room RV 170, marked by the blue circle labeled “RV” on the attached map.
