Join The Design School at Arizona State University for Feel Your Future, an immersive evening featuring Ahmed Best — worldbuilder, actor, director, educator and creator of Earthling Culture and Dramatic Narrative Design.
This event explores how storytelling, architecture, cinema and sound come together to shape how we imagine and design futures in space. Through an interdisciplinary approach, Ahmed Best introduces frameworks that connect narrative design, emotional intelligence and spatial experience as essential tools for future-making.
Drawing from both ancient architectural precedents and contemporary creative practices, the program examines how environments, sound and storytelling work together to create meaningful human experiences. The concept of Earthling Culture is introduced as a foundation for designing with dignity for all living systems, while positioning imagination as critical infrastructure for building optimistic and inclusive futures.
The evening also offers insight into emerging approaches to immersive environments and narrative prototyping, along with a preview of potential collaborations at ASU focused on spatial storytelling and dome-based technologies. As the largest public session in the series, this event serves as a platform for connecting design, science and creative industries while fostering a culture of dreaming as a design practice.
Ahmed will be in conversation with Elena Rocchi, Head of Space Architecture and Extreme Environments), MSD program at Arizona State University. To learn more about program please visit our webpage.
