Junior Advisor Program

A nomination-based pathway for the next generation of space and national defense leaders.

Be part of the next generation of space leaders

The Space Ops Junior Advisor Program is an invitation-only pathway for exceptional students from 3rd grade through college. The program advances Space Ops’ charitable, educational, research, and scientific mission, while building dual pathways in STEM for blue-collar and white-collar careers across Arizona’s national defense space ecosystem.

Formal nominations may only be submitted by Space Ops Directors and Advisors. However, students, families, educators, and community partners are welcome to submit an expression of interest.

A SEAT AT THE TABLE

Junior Advisors don’t just learn—they lead, contribute, and bring the next generation’s voice to Space Ops Advisor and Board meetings. Each year, Directors and Advisors nominate one student based on character, leadership, and alignment with our mission. Paired with these mentors, Junior Advisors receive guidance, access to learning opportunities, quarterly check-ins, and tailored experiences that support their growth—all while ensuring safety and compliance.
